First Nation leaders say feds, Ontario ignoring cannabis jurisdiction

First Nation communities in northern Ontario say Canada and the province are ignoring their jurisdiction as they roll out their cannabis legalization plans.

Earlier this summer, Ontario approved eight First Nations to apply for on-reserve cannabis stores.

But some communities are going ahead and exploring their own opportunities.
