Mississauga First Nation will be hosting a community meeting to discuss cannabis retailing.
The First Nation, west of Blind River, has been selected as one of eight First Nation sites for consideration to sell cannabis.
The local Community Economic Development Corporation is inviting the community to a meeting this Thursday from 9:00 am to 12 noon in the Chief and Council Chambers.
Representatives from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario will be on hand to talk to community members about what opening a cannabis store on reserve will entail.
